The new school building in Holešovice is already growing out of the ground

The Evangelical Church continues the construction of a new school building in Holešovice. The construction site was handed over in July 2025, and in mid-September the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone took place on the site.

The modern “green” building in Holešovice, Prague, next to the existing Fraternal School, is being built according to the design of the team of architect Hana Seho and includes sustainable technologies and maximum use of daylight. Currently (as of February 2026), excavation work has been completed and the construction of the concrete monolith has begun.

The church is collaborating with the Prague 7 Municipal District on the project for a new school building. The new building will provide facilities for an evangelical elementary school (today the Bratrská škola), a pedagogical lyceum, and a vocational social school (today the Evangelical Academy of Prague).
