The Ecumenical Council of Churches expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian Council of Churches
The Presidium of the Ecumenical Council of Churches in the Czech Republic (ECC) expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Societies in its statement of June 17, 2026. It calls, among other things, for increased pressure on the Russian Federation to end its aggression against Ukraine.

“The Presidium of the ECC in the Czech Republic expresses solidarity with the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Societies, shares its sadness and indignation over the reckless terrorist attacks by the army of the Russian Federation and joins its appeal to the government of the Czech Republic to, together with the European Union and other countries, increase pressure on the Russian Federation to end its aggression against Ukraine.”
