Following the conclusion of the fundraising campaign, the total proceeds amount to CZK 1,033,000. Donations from individuals and congregations were channeled through the long-standing partner Gustav-Adolf-Werk to organizations operating directly in the affected region.

The disaster, with its epicenter near the Venezuelan capital of Caracas, claimed over 6,000 lives and left tens of thousands injured or missing.

The initial rescue phase gave way to a challenging recovery process during the summer. Local partners—such as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Venezuela and Acción Ecuménica—are providing humanitarian aid, medicines, food, and psychosocial support, while also accompanying families and caring for the most vulnerable, including children who have lost loved ones.

We thank all the donors who contributed to this special fundraising campaign.
