Easter message from the pit?

Isn't that over the line? After all, on one side stands the sublime mystery of the Great Night, on the other only mud, dirt and the noise of construction machinery. And while the Spirit of God blows at Easter - only we humans are toiling on the construction site and trying to achieve something with our own efforts.
